Our allied health professionals have been working with people to achieve their goals for over 40 years.

This includes helping people to be more independent, better manage tasks at home, communicate, learn and be more active within their communities.

Our occupational therapists, speech pathologists and physiotherapists are respected for their experience, knowledge and skills working with the latest assistive technologies.

Our occupational therapists can support you to live independently in a safe environment.

If you would like to improve your mobility and balance, our physiotherapists can work with you on this.

Our speech pathologists can support you to communicate, learn and participate in recreational activities.

We offer appointments at our Indigo Experience Centre in Nedlands, where our health professionals have access to thousands of assistive technology items.

Or if you would like us to visit you in your home or community, our health professionals offer this service too.

Our health professionals can support you with:

• Making the best assistive technology choices, suitable for your individual circumstances
• Trialling and sourcing assistive technology
• Funding applications for assistive technology
• Setting up and training in the use of your assistive technology
• Arranging maintenance and repair of equipment
• Providing ongoing support and follow up

Check out how Paul gets the most out of life with assistive technology

Paul and his wife Paula live on a five acre property with three horses, three dogs and their daughter Brenna. Paul, a father, husband and retired Country Ambulance Services Manager, has paraplegia, a condition which restricts his ability to move his legs. Through the use of assistive technology specifically prescribed for him, including a wheelchair and scooter, Paul is able to participate in life and his community the way he wants to.
