The ILC is pleased to host Scope – Communication & Inclusion Resource Centre for two upcoming Easy English workshops. These exciting workshops will assist organisations and service providers to improve the accessibility of their written documentation and resources using Easy English.
‘Easy English: An Introduction’, being held on Thursday 16 July, looks at ‘How accessible are your organisation’s written resources?’
This workshop is suitable for a range of staff working in the disability and aged care sectors wanting to make written materials more accessible for individuals with disabilities. For example, client liaison officers, marketing / communication officers, managers, coordinators, therapists and community engagement officers. This workshop is now booked out! ‘My Plan – How to write Individual Support Plans in Easy English’, being held on Friday 17 July, looks at ‘How accessible are your planning resources and processes?’
This workshop is suitable for staff working in the disability and aged care sectors who develop, participate or write plans. For example, Local Area Coordinators, My Way Coordinators, NDIA Planners, support staff, community liaison officers, community engagement officers, aged care managers and coordinators and others writing person centred plans.
