The ILC provides a range of services for people living in rural and remote areas of Western Australia. We aim to build stronger relationships with regional communities and support the work of local service providers in the area. Our health professionals, including occupational therapists and speech pathologists, are able to support country residents with assistive equipment and technology advice, allied health services and occupational therapy driver assessments. Our team of occupational therapists and speech pathologists travel throughout country WA, from Kununurra to Esperance, to provide an information and advisory service about assistive equipment, technology and home modifications.

We provide community allied health services to people living in the Lower South West region of Western Australia, including people who are eligible to participate in the WA NDIS trial. OT Driver Assessment Country Services visits Bunbury and Northam to provide an OT Driver Assessment service, driver rehabilitation or modification lessons and professional updates to local groups around driving performance and safety.
