Our team offers services for children and teenagers with learning difficulties and disabilities. Our speech pathologists and occupational therapists are skilled in assessing, prescribing, implementing and supporting technology for communication, literacy difficulties, accessing the computer, accessing the curriculum and recreation.
- If you are not sure how technology could support your child or you’re not sure where to start we can support you to determine suitable technology options for your child through our information and advisory service.
- If you require comprehensive assessment, prescription and funding support for assistive technology our therapists can help you through our Community Allied Health Services.
- If you already have technology and would like therapy support to plan, set goals and learn to use the technology we can provide private therapy options and services through our Community Allied Health Services. We can provide services at the ILC, at your home, in the community and at school.
- If you would like training in using technology our team runs workshops regularly. For our upcoming training visit ‘What’s On‘, or for our range of individualised training workshops visit our Training and Workshops page. We also share a range of resources and supports for communication devices, visual supports, iPads and tablets through Technology & Communication Resources
The ILC is a provider under the NDIS and PITS schemes. We are able to provide medico-legal assessment, reporting, therapy and consultancy services.
