Did you know you can choose the ILC as your private therapy provider for your assistive equipment, technology and home modifications needs?
This may involve an assessment in your home to determine suitable equipment to maximise your independence, or some therapy sessions to help you learn your communication aid or a new piece of technology.
The ILC has recently become registered to provide services through Better Start and Helping Children with Autism funding schemes.
ILC’s Tech team can support young children with complex communication needs who may require augmentative and alternative communication.
The team’s speech pathologists and occupational therapists can also support children with physical difficulties who may require equipment or alternative access to the computer, tablet, books, toys or even alternative writing options to be ready for school.
ILC’s new Smart Home Display is conveniently located in Cockburn enabling My Way participants to easily access our services.
If you are a My Way participant, you are welcome to bring along your plan and discuss your assistive equipment and technology needs with our Cockburn staff. My Way Coordinators are also welcome to use the meeting room space within the Centre to meet with participants.
The ILC is a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The ILC welcomes Alison Senior to the role of Private Options Coordinator.
Formerly an occupational therapist with ILC’s Assistive Equipment Services Team, Alison is available to discuss your private therapy needs.
If you are a My Way or NDIA participant, Alison can assist you to work through your plan and can provide a quote for services to enable you to obtain the equipment, technology and support that you need.
