What We Do

The North Metro Respite and Carelink Centre  acts as an entry point for individuals or families requiring information and referral to respite care, aged care, disability, community care and other support services in the local area.

The centre also supports carers by coordinating respite care and linkage into carer support services.

In 2012/13, the centre supported 2639 carers and persons being cared for including Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) carers and clients. We provided a total of 242 119 hours of respite care and registered an average of 65 new carers on a monthly basis.

We welcome all feedback about our services, positive or negative. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our services, then please let us know.

So give us a call on 1800 052 222 to discuss about how we can best help you or if you are requiring  any further information.
