Lady teleconferencing with an ILC Health ProfessionalA video conference is a way to connect which allows two or more locations to interact via video link.Videoconferencing allows the ILC to bridge the distance in providing training and information sessions as well as appointments to individuals and groups in remote and regional locations.

A range of connection options are available:

  • Department of Health (WA) network via video conferencing equipment at many hospitals and health centres or via the internet with SCOPIA desktop software
  • Skype via the internet
  • Virtual Classroom with Blackboard Collaborate software via the internet
