Elderly lady with and ILC therapist using an iPadILC’s Technology Team offers services for seniors who would like to use technology to support their communication, access to the computer and recreational activities. The ILC receives funding from the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) to provide information and advice to seniors. Our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists can provide information and advice in regards to:

  • Alternative keyboards and mice such as large key keyboards
  • Recreational technologies such as iPads, computers and eReaders such as the Kindle
  • Communication
  • Voice Amplifiers
  • Remotes and other technology to operate appliances

We offer information and advice appointments at our centre in Nedlands to seniors and people living in aged care facilities. Through our Community Allied Health Services we also offer visits to aged care facilities to provide private services including assessment, prescription and training of technology.

Our Technology Team provides workshops and information sessions regularly. Please see our ‘What’s On’ page to view upcoming events at ILC.

Please contact us for more information on how we can help you.
