Services for Schools

iad trainingILC’s Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists are skilled in assessing, implementing and supporting technology in schools to maximise student participation, learning and communication. We work with students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities including dyslexia, autism, cerebral palsy and intellectual disability.

  • If you are not sure how technology could support your students or you’re not sure where to start we can support you to determine suitable technology options for your classrooms and students through our information and advisory service funded by Disability Services Commission WA (DSC).
  • If you already have technology in the school such as iPads, Boardmaker software and Proloquo2Go communication app, our Technology Team runs regular professional development and training throughout the school year. We can also support you in learning how to use technology by providing individualised training and professional development for your staff. For our upcoming training visit ‘What’s On‘, or for our range of individualised training workshops visit our Training and Workshops page. We also share a range of resources and supports for communication devices, visual supports, iPads and tablets through Technology & Communication Resources.
  • If technology is part of your school and you would like specialised support to meet your students’ educational needs our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists are available for consultative and therapy services. We are highly experienced in working within schools to integrate technology into the curriculum and individual programs. We will work collaboratively with your staff and students to ensure they are participating and learning to the best of their ability. We work as part of the school and part of the classroom ensuring that interventions, strategies and technologies work for your students and staff. Term packages are available.

Please contact us to discuss your school’s individual needs.
