Increased legislation has required organisations to work towards ensuring their services and facilities are more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities. Funding may be available to assist organisations to improve their services or facilities.
Funding Bodies
Organisations receiving funding through Government sources should check with their funding body for potential for funding available to assist with services or facility improvements.
Lotterywest grants for organisations
The Lotteries Commission Act 1990 determines what types of organisations can receive a Lotterywest grant and for what purposes grants can be used. Grants are available to:
- Not-For-Profit Organisations and
- Local Government Authorities
Grants cannot be made to individuals, private or for-profit organisations, government bodies or organisations with a statutory base.
