Agreement on NDIS in WA

Transition to a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Western Australia
A Bilateral Agreement has been signed by the Commonwealth and State Governments which will see the NDIS come to WA under a nationally consistent, locally-administered model. A copy of the Agreement, fact sheet and full roll-out schedule are available on the Disability Services Commission website.

The Independent Living Centre WA (ILC) is registered to provide services under the NDIS. This means you can choose the ILC as your provider for therapy and assistive technology services. Health professionals from ILC can provide information and advice to help you develop your plan, making sure it captures all the supports you require and reflects your goals and aspirations. Our experienced health professionals can visit you at home, school or in the community to help you achieve your goals in your plan. For further information about our services for WA NDIS participants click here.

For more information on the WA NDIS model including fact sheets, frequently asked questions and personal stories, you can visit the WA NDIS website here.  Alternatively you can contact the Disability Services Commission WA NDIS team on 1800 996 214 or email WANDIS@dsc.wa.gov.au .
