The Independent Living Centre WA (ILC) provides information and advice, assessment, funding and hire services that enable Western Australians of all ages and abilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives. The Noah’s Ark program provides a toy library service to facilitate development and learning through play, for children with a disability.
We are currently seeking a flexible, organised and enthusiastic part time Library Technician to join the busy and friendly team at Noah’s Ark Toy Library in Morley. The position provides support for the delivery of high quality services and information to members regarding toys, specialized equipment and resources to assist in the development of children with special needs through play. It is a highly rewarding role where you will be helping to make a difference for children with disabilities and their families.
In this role your primary responsibilities will include cataloguing and processing of resources, providing exceptional customer service to all users and supervision and training of both staff and volunteers. The ideal candidate for this role is self-directed, highly skilled in IT, has a keen eye for detail and prior experience working in a library environment.
