Library Coordinator – Noah’s Ark Toy Library

Part Time – 0.69 FTE – 26 hrs. per week

12 month contract with possible extension

The Independent Living Centre WA (ILC) provides information and advice, assessment, funding and hire services that enable Western Australians of all ages and abilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives. The Noah’s Ark program provides a toy library service to facilitate development and learning through play, for children with a disability.

We are currently looking for a creative and energetic Library Coordinator to join our team at Noah’s Ark toy library in Morley. The position provides services and information to members regarding toys, books, specialized equipment and resources to assist in the development of children with special needs through play. It is a highly rewarding role where you will be helping to make a difference for children with disabilities and their families.

You will coordinate the operations of a toy library, including inventory management, maintenance of membership and borrowing databases, deliveries, local membership development, and day to day membership service.  High level of demonstrated competency with the utilisation of IT and various software programs are essential.

Experience working within a library environment or early childhood services, education or disability will be highly regarded.
