ILC’s Nedlands centre has a wide range of equipment on display. Appointments can be made to see an occupational therapist or speech pathologist to discuss your needs in greater depth and to ensure that the right equipment or technology is available for you to trial when you visit. Equipment can be sourced from suppliers Australia-wide for appointments when required.
*NEW* Visit the ILC Equipment Display Centre
If you prefer not to make an appointment you are welcome to drop in to the centre on one of our “Drop By’ times from 10am to 1pm every Wednesday and Friday.
This is a free service and Therapists will be available to offer assistance during this time. Parking is available on site.
Please note: Some complex technology and equipment items are not suitable for viewing during our ‘Drop By’ times. You may be required to make an appointment to get advice about these items. Our Technology Services staff are unavailable during ‘Drop By’ times. We know that your time is valuable. It is therefore recommended that you contact the ILC on 9381 0600 prior to visiting us to see if an appointment is necessary for the equipment or technology you would like to view. This will ensure that you get the assistance you require when you come in.
Book an ILC Information Session
Book an information session to find out about the services offered by the ILC and to see assistive equipment demonstrations. Sessions are available for community groups, service providers, carers and students. Fees may apply for some groups. Further information about workshops and training can be found here.
Arrange a Community Outreach
The ILC’s health professionals can visit community organisations or groups to provide a presentation on assistive equipment and ILC’s services. For more information click here.
The ILC can also set up an equipment and information display at community events. Please contact us for more information.
ILC Country Services
The ILC Country Services is a unique service for people of all ages with equipment needs in rural and remote areas of Western Australia. Healthcare workers are also provided with the opportunity to update their knowledge and skills regarding equipment for themselves and their clients. ILC’s team of health professionals visit regions from Kununurra to Esperance. View more information here.
