Administration Officer (Training and Events)

1.0 FT – 1 Year Contract
Location: Nedlands

The Independent Living Centre WA (ILC) provides information and advice, assessment, funding and hire services that enable Western Australians of all ages and abilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

We are currently looking for an efficient, highly computer literate, full-time administration officer to join our dedicated team of customer focused staff. The successful applicant will provide administration support to various teams within the Independent Living Centre. Along with general administrative and personal assistant duties, this position is responsible for the coordination of internal and external training and events across the organisation. A high standard of customer service and event/ training coordination skills are essential to this role. The role requires highly developed computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional organisation and time management. Skills in marketing and managing stakeholder databases is required for this role. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working across different teams, is able to prioritise and meet deadlines and is highly adaptable and flexible. Candidates with experience implementing Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, Eventbrite, WordPress and MailChimp will be highly regarded.

The position is best suited to someone with the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Proven attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Honest, confident and reliable
